Clemson Tailgate Parking Overview

There are many options for Tailgating at the Clemson football games. From a range of lots offering paid spots that are reserved for you each week to last minute Tailgating options that you can slide into the day of the game.
Early arrival is key. Expert tailgaters at Clemson will be setting up their tents by 8 a.m. for noon games and by 10 a.m. for a 3:30 p.m. game with 12:00 p.m. arrival for night games. This early arrival time puts you in the best position to avoid sitting in traffic on Highway 76 or Tiger Boulevard at kick-off. Be aware that traffic patterns change leading up to the game and the later you arrive the more likely you are to be stuck in traffic and ”hangry.”

Reserved Spots:

If you like rolling up to a specific spot each week making it easy for your family and friends to navigate to, then choosing a reserved spot from one of the parking venues may be the perfect option.

IPTAY Options:

The IPTAY Club offers multiple reserved parking options that vary based on your donation level. See the IPTAY Football Parking Eligibility guide along with Parking Guides/Maps under Venues/Clemson University.

For more information on these options or to join IPTAY visit their home page at https://iptaycuad.com/giving-levels/ or to join use the following link: https://am.ticketmaster.com/clemson/donate/group/NQ?_ga=2.111187716.1691132601.1694096564-254465539.1694096564

Other Parking Options:

There are multiple parking options surrounding the stadium from downtown churches and businesses to local residents who rent their yards on Gameday. Some are reserved for the season, but many options remain for each game.

Free public parking is available off Perimeter Road (east of Cherry Road, excluding reserved lots) and on Kite Hill (intersection of Perimeter Road and Highway 76).

If you aren’t a season parking IPTAY member, you can check sources such as tigernet.com and Facebook for last minute parking spots.

Other Premium Parking Options:

Clemson has a multitude of options in addition to IPTAY for reserved Tailgate spots. These locations are owned by private, 3rd parties and normally are not publicly advertised. The Tailgate Shop will update this list when we find new information so check back frequently and if you know of a location, please share the details with us @ the following email address:   [email protected]

Parking Spots for Sale:

Intermural fields and the West Endzone Lot are both awesome locations for your Tailgate but the key is to find your spot on the secondary market via sources like tigernet.com and Facebook groups in advance of Gameday. These lots are where the higher-level donors Tailgate so if you find a spot for sale, you will be pleased with your location but be prepared for some sticker shock.
