Tailgating : Music

Do you want to upgrade your entertainment experience through a better Audio system? A key upgrade to consider at this point would be improving your audio and visual components.

Replace a smaller standalone Bluetooth speaker with a pair of powered stereo speakers that bring more depth and quality of sound to your Tailgate.
Speaker packages are available to meet most any budget. Consider the following before purchasing your upgraded speakers:
1. What devices will you need/want to connect to your speakers today, next week, next year?

2. Will you connect your Audio (Music) and Visual (Television/Satellite) to your speakers? Why not! You have invested in your new speakers so why not maximize the investment. You can provide DJ services playing the music of your choice during your “pregame” and then at game time switch the speakers to broadcast the big game.

3. How much power is enough? The sky is the limit and the answer here depends on how large your Tailgate will be, how much time you will be spending at your Tailgate.

Tailgating : Adding a television

Key considerations before you pull the trigger on a TV.

Deciding factors will again be the amount of time you will be spending at your Tailgate, number of people you will have at your Tailgate (viewing area needed) and making sure you have a generator appropriately sized to run the audio and visual components for a TV.

Generator: Make sure that you have a generator appropriately sized to run the TV as well as other electronic devices. When adding a TV you have to consider the power for the TV.

Source for your Television programming: What provider will you use for your programming? Satellite TV is the best provider for remote viewing like Tailgating.
◦ What is the right Satellite system for your Tailgate? You absolutely must have a Satellite Receiver to get the Satellite feed from the provider you choose. The Tailgate Shop can help you decide which Satellite system is best for your unique needs.

What Satellite Program Provider is best for your Tailgate? There are key considerations here that will make your Tailgate more enjoyable at the lowest cost. For example, if you currently utilize Dish Network at your home for Television programming, You can simply pay an additional $10 a month to add a “Programming Box” and you will have all of the channels you receive at home.

Tailgating : Foods

Semi Pro Tailgaters also are looking for ways to upgrade their food game. Initially as Rookies, stopping by the local “fried chicken shop” on the way into their Tailgate spot was fine however, now it is time to fancy it up a bit.

Moving to preparing food onsite is a great option for an upgrade. This will mean new considerations for the cooking source (grill, roaster ovens, griddle, etc.) as well as tables, warming trays, utensils, etc. for the food you will be serving.

Will you be enhancing your experience by adding coffee makers, electric ovens/roasters, etc., you will just need to consider the impact this will have on the size of generator you will need.

Tailgating : Beverages

We already talked about the importance of investing in a proven, well insulated cooler for beverages as well as perishable food items. Maybe its time to consider the following beverage upgrades:

Add in a Mimosa or Bloody Mary Bar. These are both easy ways to up your game especially if you are tailgating during early morning hours. Outside of having the right Alcohol/Mixers, there are custom coolers and supplies to help win your Mimosa/Bloody Mary Bar top reviews from your guests. The Tailgate Shop can help with recipes, custom coolers, etc to help make this upgrade easy.
